1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LetsFindDomain ("we", "us", or "the service"). By accessing, registering for, or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms. If using the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity.

2. Accounts

  • Accuracy: Registration details must be accurate, complete, and kept up to date.
  • Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.
  • Individual Use: Unless explicitly authorized by a multi-seat plan, accounts are for single-user access only. Sharing, renting, or transferring credentials is prohibited.

3. Billing, Credits, and Subscriptions

  • Credit System: Services are billed in credits or subscription quotas as set out on our pricing page. Credits represent prepaid entitlements with no cash value and cannot be transferred or redeemed for fiat currency.
  • Allocation: Subscription credits are granted per billing cycle and expire according to plan terms. Separately purchased credit packs expire on the terms stated at purchase.
  • What credits pay for: Credits pay for the AI name finder, one credit per message. Checking domains does not use credits; it is limited by a daily allowance (currently 50 checks a day without an account and 200 a day with a free one), which we may change.
  • Renewals and Cancellation: Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops subsequent renewals, while active plan access remains available through the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are governed strictly by our Refund Policy.

4. Searches and Results

  • What a result means: Availability is looked up in DNS and in the registries' own records (RDAP or WHOIS) at the time of your search. "Available" means a name was not registered at the registry when we checked. Results can change at any moment, and some registries do not answer clearly; we label those results as such.
  • Prices: Prices shown are the registrar's standard prices and are for information only. The price, taxes and fees you pay are set by the registrar at checkout. Premium names are priced by the registry.
  • AI name ideas: Names suggested by the AI name finder are generated automatically. They may resemble existing brands or trademarks. Checking that a name is free to use, including trademark searches, is your responsibility.
  • Your searches: We do not register, reserve or resell names you search for, and we do not pass your searches to anyone who does.

LetsFindDomain is not a domain registrar and does not sell domains. Registering a domain happens on a third-party registrar's site (currently Namecheap) under that registrar's terms, prices and refund rules. Some links to registrars and marketplaces are affiliate links: if you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. We are not a party to your contract with the registrar or marketplace and are not responsible for their service.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Run automated or bulk queries against the service, or scrape its results, outside an API we provide for that purpose;
  • Use the service to support cybersquatting, trademark infringement or other unlawful registration of domain names;
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract prompts or underlying systems;
  • Circumvent quotas, rate limits, billing rules, or security controls;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or overload the infrastructure of the service;
  • Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code.

Violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of access without refund.

7. Service Availability and Disclaimers

  • The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted operation.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature or workflow at our discretion.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, including lost profits, loss of data, or business interruption.
  • Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to the service shall be capped at the total amount you paid us in the three (3) months preceding the claim, or USD 50, whichever is greater. Always confirm availability and price with the registrar before relying on a result.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless LetsFindDomain from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the service, the names you register, or your breach of these terms.

10. Termination and Changes

You may terminate this agreement by closing your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts in breach of these terms.
